This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work on tickets4U, operated by Payzio Inc. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. Organizers set the refund terms
Each event is run by an independent Organizer who sets the refund and cancellation terms for that event. The Organizer’s specific terms are shown on the event page and/or your ticket or invite. Where an Organizer’s stated terms are more generous than this policy, the Organizer’s terms apply.
2. All sales are final by default
Unless the Organizer offers refunds or exchanges, or unless required by applicable law, all ticket sales are finaland non-refundable. Please review the event details and the Organizer’s policy carefully before purchasing.
3. Service fees
Per-ticket service fees and payment-processing fees are generally non-refundable, even where the ticket price itself is refunded, except where the event is cancelled by the Organizer or where a refund of fees is required by law.
4. Cancelled events
If an Organizer cancels an event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price in accordance with the Organizer’s policy and applicable law. Refunds for cancelled events are funded by the Organizer and processed back to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, typically within 5–10 business days after the refund is issued.
5. Postponed, rescheduled, or materially changed events
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will normally remain valid for the new date. If the event is materially changed (for example, a significant change of date, venue, or headline act), refund eligibility is determined by the Organizer’s policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Free / RSVP events and Organizer host fees
Free/RSVP events are free for attendees, so there is nothing for an attendee to refund. For Organizers, the flat Host Plan fee charged when invites are sent is generally non-refundable once invites have been delivered, because the associated services (invite generation and email/SMS delivery) have already been performed. If invites have not yet been sent, contact us and we will work with you on a resolution.
7. How to request a refund
- First, review the Organizer’s refund terms on the event page or your ticket.
- Refund requests should be directed to the Organizer where possible. If you cannot reach the Organizer, or need help, email tickets4u@payzio.com with your order number and the email or phone used to purchase.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. We do not issue cash refunds.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can help resolve it quickly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in cancellation of the associated tickets and suspension of your account.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction (for example, in Canada or the United States). Where such laws conflict with this policy, those laws prevail.
